The National Education Association is building a nation of readers through its signature program, Read Across America. Now in its 20th year, this year-round program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources. Inland Empire United Way is partnering with a school in Fontana and looking for enthusiastic volunteers to visit classrooms and read to the students. The school will provide books but, you are welcome to bring your own if you have a favorite!
