Charleston Dorchester Mental Health Center has a fabulous Mobile Crisis Team that responds to crises within the community and at our center. Our Mobile team needs volunteers to help scan client records into our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) database. Additional duties may include helping with intakes and escorting clients. While being in Mobile, volunteers will be able to listen in on calls and have the opportunity to actually go out on a crisis call in the event one takes place while volunteers are there. There is never a dull moment in the Mobile Crisis office! If you're interested in trauma or crisis services, this would be an ideal volunteer opportunity for you. Mobile operates Monday-Fri from 8:30 AM to 6PM. Weekend opportunities might be an option.
