Edheads is looking to create innovative events planning team. Edheads is a 501c3 non-profit organization that ties K-12 classroom curricula to real world challenges and careers by providing free and low-cost games (with cartoon characters) to teachers, students and parents. Our mission is to bridge the gap between education and work, specifically STEM careers. We are looking for up to 10 volunteers to join a team to innovate, collaborate, and host events. These events will be the foundation to raise funds for Edheads interactive online games and form an outreach program to our local STEAM communities. We need volunteers to meet once a month for 2 hours to come up with creative events for locals to come learn about and raise money for the Edheads mission. The Volunteer Events Team will plan events, execute, set-up, attend, and market Edheads mission. The expectation for the group is to host one event per quarter equaling four events per year. Please reach out if you want to make a difference for kids by creating, hosting, and innovating events with Edheads!
