Medical Reserve Corps. (MRC) plays an integral part of the disaster preparedness involvement of both medical professionals as well as non-medical volunteers to provide support to first-responders, disaster relief groups and community safety organizers.

St. Clair County would like to provide you with emergency preparedness training that will benefit you and your family as well as the community at large. In turn, we hope you can be called on to participate in emergency situations and community health initiatives.

Mission Statement

The mission of the St. Clair County Medical Reserve Corps (SCCMRC) is to enhance the emergency preparedness and response capabilities of St. Clair County by recruiting and training a corps of medical and non-medical volunteers to assist in response to a public health or other community emergency.

Description

The St. Clair County Medical Reserve Corps will provide a pre-credentialed, trained volunteer force that stands ready to supplement existing public health infrastructure.
