We are looking for volunteers in the Middletown, NJ area to help us spread the awareness for the American Cancer Society and our local Relay For Life program.
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 20 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer.
Join us at our Middletown event to bring our community together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer. The money raised through Relay For Life events helps realize the American Cancer Society's mission: to save lives and celebrate life. Every day.
When you join a Relay For Life event, you're helping the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking research, crucial patient care programs, and education and prevention information. When you Relay, you help save lives.
Our local Middletown event takes place every annually in June, and is hosted at Middletown North. It is open to the entire Middletown community and all those surrounding it. We have teams of family and friends, from schools, local businesses, larger companies, and thensome.

Description
The goal of the American Cancer Society (ACS) is to prevent cancer, save lives, and diminish suffering from cancer. The way that we approach this is through research, prevention and early detection, advocacy, and patient & family services. The American Cancer Society is at work in communities all across the country providing programs aimed at reducing the risk of cancer, detecting cancer as early as possible, ensuring proper treatment, and empowering people facing cancer to cope and maintain the highest possible quality of life.
