Spanish and English Translators Required for Prestigious Museum Work

Museum Translate is a global, not-for-profit organisation offering professional translation of text displayed in museums and galleries, free of charge. At Museum Translate we believe that information displayed in museums should be accessible to as many visitors as possible in order to promote wider understanding of various cultures and history.

We are currently welcoming new volunteers who are fluent in both written English and Spanish. To be eligible for the role, we kindly request volunteers to be available for a minimum of 30 minutes per week at a time most convenient to them.

A record is kept of all translations completed by our volunteers. We are happy to provide references verifying the commitment and achievements made by volunteers. Dedicated volunteers who are interested in advancing within the organisation may also be given the opportunity to move to managing or development roles when they arise.
