Co-developing with the Fundraising Anchor the strategic fundraising plan, particularly in regard to grants.
Fulfilling LBH goals, measurable objectives, strategies and timelines for grants.
Researching and qualifying potential LBH funders, working closely with the Prospect Researcher and the LBH team.
Writing grant proposals for grantmakers that are LBH mission-aligned.
Submitting grant proposals once Fundraising Anchor and/or CEO has provided final edits.
Responding to grantmakers' and funders' requests for additional information.
Writing and submitting reports to funders, as needed.
Keeping detailed grants records using LBH software and databases.
Identifying and advising on the implementation of fundraising tools and resources.
Participating in grants- and fundraising-related professional development opportunities.
Representing LBH in fundraising and friend-raising capacities, when appropriate.

Description
Ladybug House is a grassroots organization working to build Washington's first free standing, community based palliative care home with end-of-life support for children, adolescents and young adults with life limiting illnesses in Seattle. Ladybug House seeks to support families and loved ones, providing rest and rejuvenation for caregivers in a respectful, loving atmosphere. We hope to bring the comfort of home to a medical setting that also meets the emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of each family. If needed, Ladybug House will bridge the gap between home and hospital, offering a place of solace for hospice care.
