Have fun while doing good.
On Tuesday March 28, 2017 we need volunteers to eat for the cure at 80 participating Chipotles around NYC. That day 50% of every purchase from 80 participating NYC area Chipotles supports our mission - NO ONE SHOULD DIE FROM BREAST CANCER - when diners say Komen at checkout.
We seek volunteers to be in front of their closest participating Chipotle to remind diners entering the store to say "Komen" at checkout, and of course, to dine at Chipotle that day. (Extra guac for Komen). We would also be grateful to have individuals spread the word to friends through social media.

Founded in 1990, Komen Greater NYC is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2015. Since 1999, Susan G. Komen Greater NYC has awarded more than $46 million in grants to a wide variety of community partners and invested in cutting-edge breast cancer research programs. In the last five years alone, Komen Greater NYC has helped more than 830,000 women, men and families in New York City, on Long Island, and in Westchester and Rockland Counties. This year, Komen Greater NYC is awarding more than $1.64 million to 25 local breast health programs as well as $700,000 for national breast cancer research to find the cures.
