Key Volunteer Leaders for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundations Metro Detroit Take Steps Walk

We are looking for Volunteer leaders to take charge of different areas of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundations Take Steps Walk that takes Place in Royal Oak in Saturday, June 10th 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Volunteer Leaders would need to meet in person or via a conference call 1 -2 times a month between February & June for 1 hour. Help generate ideas on how to make the below areas fun and a great experince for the walkers and volunteers. Work closley with the Take Steps Manager leading up to the walk and be the leader of your area the day of the walk, answer questions about your area and general Take Steps questions, direct volunteers in your area to ensure everyone in attandance has a postive experience.

  • Set-up - Friday June 9th and early morning Sat, June 10th

  • The Route we walk

Being a volunteer leader not only helps the Crohn's & Colits Foundation, it looks great on your resume, is a great newtworking opportunity with others in Metro Detroit and allows you to give help in your community.

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization aimed at improving the life of and finding a cure for the 1.6 million American adults and children living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, chronic and often debilitating digestive diseases. The Foundation maintains a presence across the United States, with chapters in every state offering support groups, educational programs, and fundraising events. On a national level, the Foundation hosts a variety of educational programs throughout the year for patients and professionals, including educational teleconferences/webcasts and its annual Advances in IBD professional conference. Its Information Resource Center, staffed by master's level healthcare professionals, provides information and support to the Crohn's and colitis community.
