ORGANIZATION: Crohns & Colitis Foundation Michigan Chapter

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Michigan Chapter is looking for motivated volunteers to help with our Annual TAKE STEPS WALK. This years walk will be at Meininger Park in Royal Oak on June 10th.

Positions available are:

  • Set up 10:00 am- 2:00 pm Friday June 9th
  • Set up 7:00 am - 8:45 am Satyrday, June 10th
  • Registration 7:30 am - 10:45 am
  • Kid Corral 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
  • Food 8:00 am - 12:30 pm
  • Photographers 8:45 as - 12:00 pm
  • Cheer/water Stations 9:45 am - 12:30 pm
  • Start/Finish Line 10:00 am -10:45 am & 11:15 am -12:00 pm
  • Clean up 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Comfortable clothing suggested - pants and tennis shoes.

All volunteers will be provided refreshments and a Take Steps T-shirt.

Description

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization aimed at improving the life of and finding a cure for the 1.6 million American adults and children living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, chronic and often debilitating digestive diseases. The Foundation maintains a presence across the United States, with chapters in every state offering support groups, educational programs, and fundraising events. On a national level, the Foundation hosts a variety of educational programs throughout the year for patients and professionals, including educational teleconferences/webcasts and its annual Advances in IBD professional conference. Its Information Resource Center, staffed by master's level healthcare professionals, provides information and support to the Crohn's and colitis community.
