Come spend a morning in the beautiful hills of Jacksonville and help with a "de-vine intervention" in the Jacksonville Woodlands where we will remove invasive English ivy from the forest. We'll save trees from death-by-ivy and protect woodland flowers and shrubs. And, we'll have snacks to share while learning some interesting facts as we work on this protected property.

Description
Sign up for Volunteer Opportunity updates!
We host outdoor volunteer events open to the public or custom to your group. Depending on the time of year, volunteers lend a hand from the Cascade-Siskiyou Monument near Pilot Rock to the Rogue River Preserve in Eagle Point to Williams Creek in the Applegate Valley.
Volunteers help us remove non-native plants to help preserve beautiful places, they volunteer as educators during our Loving the Land Program, they volunteer to guide hikes, help in the office, take photos, join a committee, put on a party, and bring us tons of good cheer! We love our volunteers and wouldn't be able to conserve as much land as we have already without them. THANKS!!
Since 1978 the Southern Oregon Land Conservancy has been dedicated to the permanent protection of forests, working farms and ranches, rivers, streams and the beautiful natural setting of the Rogue River region.
Our work is accomplished through the efforts of a vibrant Board, knowledgeable staff, a volunteer Lands Advisory Board and Trustee Council, and a diverse group of members and community partners dedicated to preserving this beautiful land for future generations.
