Heartland Hospice Services

Hospice volunteer

Hospice patients, especially veterans, appreciate volunteers who talk, read and play games with them during visits. These visits are especially meaningful when one veteran helps another. Many patients get very lonely, and so the really enjoy visits. Patients in nursing homes or do not have families truly appreciate the visits. When patients do have family, the relatives are very thankful the great gift of your friendly presence, particularly when it gives family members time to get other work done. Heartland serves patients throughout Livingston, Oakland, Washtenaw, Way, Lenawee and Monroe Counties. Learn more by calling 734-973-1145 or check out
