Children in Need is a service event for children and families who face homelessness in Larimer County. We bring together about a dozen service providers (to deliver eye exams, legal advice, resource information and more) and distribute basic supplies.
Most volunteers act as "personal shoppers" with families, help with distribution, greet guests, etc. The volunteer shift begins at 8:30am, but we encourage volunteers to arrive a few minutes early in order to have time to park and be at the orientation by 8:30am. Other shifts are available earlier (set-up) and later (break-down).
This is a great direct service opportunity for individuals or groups of all ages. Family and Teen Friendly!
