Help in the fight against Alzheimer's by joining the the Walk to End Alzheimer's Volunteer Committee in Northeast Tarrant County, TX! Our volunteer committee consists of a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit diverse skill sets and interests.
We are currently looking for volunteers to:
- Help support and encourage Walk to End Alzheimer's team captains and participants by making phone calls, sending emails and/or writing notecards and preparing other postal mailings
- Assist with generating community awareness by distributing promotional materials, utilizing social media platforms, and/or working with local media contacts
- Participate in creating an exciting event experience by connecting with vendors and groups to provide entertainment, activities, incentives, and other logistics-related items
- Expand the reach of Walk to End Alzheimer's through company involvement by engaging networks, setting appointments, and making presentations
Our committee members play an active role in the planning, team recruitment, team retention, corporate engagement and the full execution of our Walk Event. Whether you have 1 hour a month or 1 hour a week to volunteer, there's a place on the planning committee for everyone!
