Established in 2015, My Brother’s House Basic Center Program is an emergency, temporary shelter for Runaway & Homeless Youth (RHY) located in College Park, GA. Our mission is to increase the safety, self-sufficiency and overall well-being of youth in Metropolitan Atlanta through services which include linkage to community resources, stable housing placement, and family reunification, if possible.
Currently, My Brother’s House is seeking a qualified Licensed Social Worker with MSW from an accredited university and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Key Job Duties Include:
- Perform Intake Assessments on incoming youth
- Create Individualized Service Plans, Treatment Plans, Crisis Intervention Plans, and Family Reunification Plans in conjunction with Youth, Family, and Case Manager.
- Hold at least 2 sessions per week of individual, group, family, or peer counseling per week.
Volunteer Licensed Social Worker is asked to donate approximately 20 hours of their time per month.
