APL Title

We are looking for a Storytime Helper! This volunteer will help our Youth Librarian during the very active back to back Toddler and Preschool Storytimes. Volunteers will help set up the room, assist in handing out materials during the program, straighten up between events, participate in storytime, and help set up/take down at the event.

This position requires volunteers to move items up to 25lbs, use various craft equipment, and to bend, stoop, and stretch with or without reasonable accommodations.

Work is best suited for detail oriented individuals who love kids and crafts and have an outgoing personality. This position requires a weekly commitment for a minimum of three months.

Current openings include:

  • Hampton Branch at Oak Hill | 5125 Convict Hill Rd

    • Thursdays 9:30am-12pm | 1 volunteer needed for a weekly 2.5 hour shift
