The Joy Bus needs volunteers to help at the 2017 March Madness Music Festival on March 31 - April 2 at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix! Live entertainment and great bands draw big crowds and we need your help to make this the best event ever! All volunteers MUST BE 18 OR OLDER, as we will be selling alcohol. Volunteers are expected to be punctual and arrive on time ready to work and remain until their shift and the day's work is completed -- each volunteer must work for a MINIMUM of 4 hours at a time.
All volunteers MUST complete the Arizona Alcohol Server Certification prior to the event. Information can be found at http://www.learn2serve.com/arizona-alcohol-server-certification/.
We will need volunteers for the following shifts:
Friday
2pm - 10pm
5pm - 11am
Saturday
10:30am - 8:30pm
3pm - 11pm
Sunday
1:30pm - 10pm
4pm - 11pm

Mission Statement
The Joy Bus is passionately dedicated to relieving the daily struggles of homebound cancer patients by delivering fresh chef-inspired meals at absolutely no cost to the client. Through partnerships with community organizations, our food is freshly prepared according to client’s dietary needs and then delivered by a compassionate volunteer who will not only bring a meal but will provide personalized service by spending time with each client.
Description
The Joy Bus was founded in 2011 after our founder's dear friend Joy struggled with the painful side-effects of cancer and its treatment and ultimately lost her life to the horrific disease. Joy's incredible drive and determination through her battle continues to inspire us and have shaped the mission of The Joy Bus. We work hard to relieve the burden that many cancer patients and their families face by providing fresh, healthy, delicious meals with compassion and a smiling face.
