We are growing! And in doing so it is becoming too diifficult for the small groups of volunteers to be jack of all trades. We need help getting our rescued animals...dogs, cats, and the potential critter here and there...from their foster homes to the adoption fairs and from the fairs to their foster homes.
We do not need the same volunteer to both pick up and drop but it would be nice! The fairs are from noon to 4 every Sat and Sun at the Petsmart in Monrovia at 745 West Huntington Dr, Monrovia, CA 91016. Rain or shine, but we exclude holidays such as Easter, New Years, Thanksgiving weekend, etc.
The fosters are located mainly in the San Gabriel Valley, however we do a couple out in the Valley whp have been missing fairs due to the lack of transport help.
The lack of transport help also prevents us from recruiting new volunteers in the father areas from us, rsulting in not being able to save more dogs.
Animals will have to be inside carriers, which the fosters should have.
We need drivers to help pick up from fosters and then to drop off after the fair, again it can be two different people and volunteers can help us with only one pick up if they can only do one pick up, from:
Duarte to the fair noon
the fair to Duarte 4pm
South El Monte to the fair depending on the foster's work schedul either 9 or noon
the fair to South El Monte about 5ish pm
Sherman Oaks to the fair early morning to late morning (varies)
the fair to Sherman Oaks varies betwen 4 and 5
Burbank to the fair noon
the fair to Burbank 4
Arcadia to the fair 11 to noon
the fair to Arcadia 4
Long Beach to the fair noon

Mission Statement
We are a non profit animal rescue foundation, our primary aim is to provide rescue and forever home placement of animals from the Southern California shelter systems. We aim to provide last minute rescue to critters and other animals that have been scheduled for euthanasia and have run out of time in securing help from local animal rescue organizations. Our secondary goal is to provide the same quality of rescue and placement for animals abandoned or in need of being re-homed by private individuals with the goal of preventing these creatures from otherwise entering the shelter system, while also providing limited and minimal support to selected private individuals in need of emergency medical and daily living care for their animals with the goal of preventing these creatures from being surrendered to the shelter system.
Description
We save doggies, kitties, critters and other animals from dying in the shelters, which means we also try to help some creatures, as best we can, from going to the shelters in the first place. We care for our animals while they stay in foster homes throughout the LA County and Valley areas. We take part in adoption fairs and we have an online Vintage & Resale Shop.
