The "Get Hooked Gala" is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It features live and silent auctions, and tons of games and raffles with amazing prizes!
Helpers are needed for set-up during the day (8 am to 2 pm), and to run games and raffles during the event (4 pm to 9 pm), as well as check-in.
This is a great opportunity for small groups, and for other event organizers who might like to get ideas for their own fundraisers.
Lunch provided for set-up helpers. Buffet dinner included for those who work the event itself.
Proceeds from the event help Fishing for Life provide free and low-cost fishing & outdoors programs for youth, families, military, and partner organizations.

Fishing for Life is a Christian non-profit organization that serves youth, families and communities through fishing and outdoors programs.
Description
We sponsor free fishing events for kids and military families year-round in an effort to get kids outdoors and hooked on fishing.
In addition, we have several other signature programs:
- Reel Em In Kids, which refurbishes old fishing equipment for distribution to kids
- Deep C's Men's Ministry
- Sportsman's Garage Sale and Boat Auction
- GEM Summer Camp
- Mobile trout pond for events & festivals
- Fish a Thon
