The Mt. Pinos Ranger District of the Los Padres National Forest is looking for a volunteer Information Assistant to interact with public visitors. Duties include putting up and taking down the American Flag at the Ranger Station, answering the station phone, giving directions to the public, selling wood permits, books and maps. Volunteers wear the Forest Service uniform with a volunteer patch. The position is Monday through Friday and you can volunteer for as little as one day a week or serve for more. Your service would be greatly appreciated.
