Compeer Callers make a weekly call to someone who is lonely, isolated, and receiving treatment for mental illness. These "phone buddies" provide social interaction by phone while the person is waiting to be matched with a community one-on-one friend. You must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Email agarlins@mhacentralcarolinas.org for more information about the Compeer Caller program.
