To kick off barbecue season, FosterAdopt Connect partners with McGonigle’s Market to sell delicious ready-to-eat ribs. A portion of the proceeds from each ribs purchase benefits local foster and adopted children. We need volunteers to help us with tasks such as greeting customers, taking orders, sacking ribs, and directing traffic. We can accommodate large groups.
We have several shifts available:
8:30am -10:30am
10:15am -1:15pm
1:00pm - 4:00pm
3:45pm - 6:00pm

To provide foster and adoptive children a stable, loving and nurturing family environment by support and advocacy for abused and neglected children and the families caring for them.
Description
FosterAdopt Connect provides comprehensive support for abused and neglected children and the families caring for them. We believe it is in the context of family that children learn, grow, thrive and heal. To promote the permanency children need, we offer a broad range of services: foster, relative, and kinship home licensing; professional advocacy; specialized training; thorough family finding programs; in-home mental and behavioral health assistance; case management for foster care alumni; a safe place for children in our shelter; and physical support through our food pantry/clothing closet.
