Museum Collection Volunteers assist in numbering, photographing, cataloguing, inventorying and rehousing objects in the museum's diverse two and three dimensional collection; assist with computer data entry: assist with research and installation of exhibits. All museum staff is required to wear face masks. Museum staff has been fully vaccinated.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Addison Historical Museum is to engage the public in the rich and diverse history of Addison, Illinois.
Description
Located within the HIstorical District of Addison, the Addison Historical Museum includes the 1892 Balzer House which features displays on local history, the 1932 Coach House which presents dioramas and exhibits on Addison's rural heritage and the 1893 Century House, once the home of Lutheran School teachers and their families, which is now restored to the late 19th to early 20th Century period.
The museum is cooperative effort of the Village of Addison, Addison Historical Commission, and the Addison Historical Society.
