Our Board of Directors provide guidance and governance for HSBC: establishing strategic goals, supporting operating plans, leading fundraising efforts, and serving as a liaison to the business community. Typical Director skills and experience are in the areas of nonprofit development, academia, finance, marketing, public relations, management, construction/renovation, and related capabilities. Our Directors serve a three-year term, renewable for one additional term.

The Historical Society of Baltimore County collects, conserves, and interprets our rich history for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations.
Description
We maintain a library, archives, a House Museum and Farm Museum to preserve and interpret Baltimore County's past to future generations. We are a small organization with plenty of projects to apply volunteers to.
