Orphan Helpers' 11th Annual Golf Classic will be held at Ford's Colony Golf Club in Williamsburg, Virginia, on June 9, 2017. All proceeds will benefit abandoned children and incarcerated youth in government-run orphanages and detention centers in Honduras and El Salvador.
We are looking for volunteers to serve on a planning committee for this year's tournament. Volunteers will work with the golf tournament coordinator to help:
- Identify and pursue sponsorships
- Obtain in-kind donations and raffle prizes
- Secure teams to play in the tournament
- Recruit "day-of" volunteers
- Plan logistics for registration, competitions, and prizes
Each year, the tournament draws more than 150 golfers, 80 supporting businesses, and 30 event volunteers.
