About

Please join us in 2017 to begin the flood restoration process at EIGHT sites in the foothills, orbiting the Lyons community on St Vrain Creek (near Button Rock Reservoir), Left Hand Creek, James Creek, and the Little Thompson River. Your efforts will help protect our water supply by revegetating scoured stream banks, and make a difference for the returning river otter, greenback cutthroat trout, and the Preble's meadow jumping mouse. Activities will include native seeding, diverse plantings of native trees and shrubs, soil healing mulch application, exciting opportunities to work with construction contractors, beaver caging (we cage the plants, not the beavers), and much, much more.
