MASS Advocates holds a large annual conference every October for people with disabilities. It is a fun, educational and empowering event that self-advocates look forwards to every year. it is not a gala event. This is a huge undertaking with over 400 people attending. The conference itself is held at the Best Western Hotel in Marlboro, MA on Saturday, October 14, 2017. We are looking for volunteers who could assist at the conference itself and who could assist me organizing different aspects of the event.
At the office - I am looking for volunteers who are good at social media, media contacts, excel and following up on a variety of conference tasks. Also would love to have someone who is artistic.
At the event itself we need volunteers in these categories:
1) Making videos
2) Taking photos
3) Registration tables
4) Assisting workshop presenters
5) Helping self-advocates to get around the conference
