The Humane Society of North Texas is participating in the 2018 ASPCA " Help a Horse" campaign! This year one of our dates is called "Saving Hooves - Clean Up Day" at our Equine Facility in Joshua, TX. We still need more individual volunteers and volunteer groups and we'd love for you and/or your group to join in! The event is May 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 1033 CR 910 Joshua, TX 76058.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before. Duties will include but are not limited to...
- Fence work (driving posts / cementing posts / repairing existing fencing)
- Cleaning, Sweeping, Sorting (cleaning specific facility areas, picking up wire /moving resource materials / moving hay etc...)
- Horse shelter building (Please feel free to bring tools that you're comfortable using)
- Painting barns and buildings (painting trim on buildings and the barn / inside these facilities as well)
- Power Washing (washing walls of buildings, the barn, equipment etc...)

Founded in 1905, the Humane Society of North Texas is the largest and longest standing non-profit animal rescue and adoption organization in North Texas. HSNT serves over 25,000 animals annually through its crucial programs including emergency animal rescue, humane investigations, low-cost spay and neuter services, a feral cat TNR program, owner surrenders, lost and found services and the adoptions of dogs, cats, horses, livestock, small mammals, reptiles and more.
