For BGSC, the success of social media marketing is contingent on building relationships. While BGSC is a small and fairly new organization, we are seeking a social media content (marketing) strategist who exhibits an extraordinary ability to connect with people, work to build a rapport, and sustain those relationships through social media. We are seeking a strategist who desires to assist us in adding valuable content to a larger conversation; a strategist who will represent our cause for an underserved demographic. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to a consistent publication of content, engaging in dialogue or discussion with our audience, promoting of events, responding to messages within the scope of our mission, and social networking on our various platforms.

With this position, we recognize that content marketing requires reading our target audience’s online content and joining in on discussions to learn what’s important to them. This is imperative when creating content that builds dialogue and networking. This position is essential in helping BGSC build a stronger brand through a highly-focused social media and content marketing strategy, which will provide a better chance for success.
