To The Moon - Mentor

Youth Service Project's To The Moon After School Program is seeking an Arts and Crafts Assistant! This program instructs learners, ages 5-18, on arts, media and technology practices through exciting and innovative lessons and activities.

Discovery, imagination and cultural appreciation are celebrated as pathways that inspire learners to acknowledge their unique artistic talents.

As an Arts and Crafts Assistant, you will:

  • Assist the coordinator and volunteers with the distribution of arts and crafts for the planned activity of the day
  • Collect materials (clean up) at the completion of the day
  • Develop new and fun art related art and craft ideas for the youth

The program runs between 3pm-6pm Monday through Thursday, and 3pm-5pm on Fridays.

Time commitment: This position is specifically seeking volunteers with availability between 4pm-6pm M-TH or 4pm-5pm Fridays. We ask that you are available during this time for one day per week through the end of the school year.
