Support Talents gives children that are less fortunate monetarily opportunities in order to succeed or improve academically. Our organization allows for older, more experienced young adults to help develop these students, and help them in whatever they need tutoring with. Although we have no limit of topics that we can teach, we prefer to help with school work, as well as Chinese culture and Board Games if they happen to be interested. Tutors will learn to develop communication skills, leadership skills, and teaching skills when interacting with these children. Times are 2 hours every Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Our mission is to provide community service to enrich cultural life, create a stage to the people who want to help others for Chinese, and Chinese Board Games, and to outstanding students who want to build leadership, communication skills, tutoring skills and contribution minds, through this way to volunteer and server our community and improve yourself as well.
Description
Support Talents is a non-profit organization which focuses on helping people to learn Chinese , Chinese Board Games and culture, help kids doing Math homework, find opportunities to help kids with less fortunate educational backgrounds in China. Also the organization has set up clubs as a stage for volunteering opportunities, receiving President Volunteer Service Awards, and chair leadership positions. Any volunteers who contribute their time will receive credits for personal goals and achievements.
