We are looking for volunteers to commit to 4 hour shifts, either 10am-2pm or 4pm-8pm to run some of our classes and activities. Training would be provided. Volunteers could commit to a weekly time slot or monthly time slot, and could do more than one if wanted. Examples of classes and activities would be guided meditation, children's story time, support groups, open hours for helping people fill out paperwork (job applications, DSS paperwork, WIC, etc.), craft classes, writing classes, and a variety of other opportunities. Training and support would be provided. This is a great way to meet new people, build a community, and assist our brand new nonprofit in growing to meet the needs of Rochester women.
