Capital Carshare provides community access to transportation via a fleet of 7 vehicles.

We are dedicated to serving those Albany neighborhooods in which financial ciircumstances make it difficult to afford car ownership.

We believe everyone deserves access to convenient, affordable transportation.

Beyond transforming individual lives, carsharing also has a great effect on improving the environment. For each carshare member who avoids purchasing a personal vehicle and chooses carsharing, 1,000 Tons of CO2 emissions are kept out of our environment.

We are in search of people with an interest in the environment, transportation equity and shared mobility to answer phones, assist members, help maintain our vehicles, assist us with grant proposals and more.

Our office is conveniently located on Lark Street at the corner of Lark and Washington.
