About

Up to 20 volunteers are needed each LAST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH to help with the separation, movement, and distribution of produce items at Bread for the City's Southeast Center (1640 Good Hope Road SE). Advance sign-up is required through Bread for the City's electronic shift calendar, available online at www.breadforthecity.org/volunteer.

Volunteers are needed to arrive on-time. The first hour of service from 9 am to 10 am is particularly critical to prepare for market.

Right now, sign-ups are slow for May 17th and May 31st. We'd love to see you if you're able to help!

By metro, please exit the green line at the Anacostia metro stop. From there, you can take the B2, V2, or W6 bus to 16th and Good Hope Road SE. Bread for the City's Southeast Center will be a half block from where you exit the bus.
