The Brevard Humane Society has been providing chapel services for all critters for over 10 years. We help the grieving process and the opportunity to provide those additional minutes between a loved one and their beloved animal in a private, calm environment. Our pets, pals, critters- are family.
For most, the passing away of the pet isn't the hardest, it's waking up and not seeing them again. Your pet means the most to you, and the Brevard Humane Society provides the opportunity to say good-bye in an compassionate manner.
Our Chapel service volunteer will help bridge our Chapel services with the community by connecting through off-site events and educational presentations. We need volunteers who are able to empathize, while still being able to offer the same opportunities for a person to remember their pet as they would a family member.
If you are compassionate, outgoing, sympathetic, patient, and have a special ability to help people grive with the loss of their beloved pet, then we want you.
Please contact us for more details and information.

About Central Brevard Humane Society
Location:
1020 Cox Rd, Cocoa, FL 32926, US
Mission Statement
The Central Brevard Humane Society provides animal welfare shelter and programs that foster a humane ethic toward all animals. We also strive to deepen the community's commitment to spaying and neutering, as well as the adoption of homeless companion animals. We believe this to be essential to achieving our purpose of humane care and treatment of all animals.
Description
The Central Brevard Humane Society has served the Brevard Community for more than 50 years, making it the oldest animal welfare organization in Brevard County
Until 1952 Brevard County had no real support for lost pets and homeless animals. In August of that year, a group of animal lovers got together and the Central Brevard Humane Society was born.
Today, the shelter is open seven days a week to help lost pets find their owners and homeless animals find loving homes.
Using donations from the community, over 6,000 dogs, cats, kittens, puppies and other animals are cared for each year.
