We have an immediate need for mentors to help our motivated participants on a better path toward self-sufficiency. We're looking for adults to offer support, guidance and resources to those living at, or below, the poverty level.
Time commitment: We ask that our volunteers meet face-to-face, or talk on the phone, with their participant once a week or so, in an effort to help them set achieavable goals and get the on a better path in life.
Orientation is provided, as is continuous support for all mentors.

Focus Plus Mobility Mentoring is an adult mentoring service which helps those living at, or below, the poverty level, achieve self-sufficiency.
Description
Focus Plus Mobility Mentoring pairs volunteers with participants looking for a better path in life. Our participants are those living at, or below, the poverty level wanting to become more self-sufficient. Our mentors provide support, resources and guidance to help each person overcome obstacles standing in their way of a more rewarding life.
