A&B Productions, Axel Andrews, Bobby Mills, and Hope & Help presents Orlando's most riveting dance competition, the 4th Annual Dancing With The Queens (DWTQ). This fundraiser benefits Hope & Help in its fight to end HIV/AIDS in Central Florida. Held at The Abbey, renowned drag queens dance-off with sass and style, while competing for the coveted Best Dancer and Audience Favorite Awards. Be careful though, the claws will come out! Filled with the comedic talents of host, Ms. Darcel Stevens, audiences will find themselves in wonder and tears. Join us on Monday, April 17th at 7:00 p.m. for the best show of the spring! Tickets are $25 for General Admission and $50 for VIP Admission. Purchase are available at www.dwtq.org.
We are looking for the following volunteer positions to be filled:
Ambassador (10+)
- Promotes DWTQ by distributing flyers and encouraging social media engagement
- Solicits ticket purchases
- Manages Hope & Help table during fundraiser
Silent Auction Attendant (2-3)
- Assists with the set-up and tear-down of silent auction area
- Monitors the silent auction area for safety and security of all auction items
- Enthusiastically answers audience questions about each item and encourages them to make bids
Photographer (1)
- Takes pictures and video of the event
Facility Attendant (2-3)
- Arrives early and stays late to set-up and tear-down event activities
- Ensures grounds are consistently clean
Safety Attendant (2-3)
- Ensures safety of all audience and staff and assists them as needed
- Controls the flow of traffic throughout the entire event
- Monitors for suspicious activity and quickly reports to Event Coordinator/911E as needed
Registration Attendant (2-3)
- Uses iPad and payment software to register new guests and confirm registrations for existing guests
- Maintains an orderly, quick, and efficient registration line
- Actively solicits donations for Hope & Help
