Love animals? Want to help in your community? Equine Aid: Horse and Donkey Sanctuary is seeking volunteers who love animals and want to help care for horses, ponies and donkeys. We also welcome helpers who are interested in gardening, facility updates and repairs.

If You want to volunteer or need community service hours, email us for the application at: equineaid@comcast.net

We ask all volunteers commit to 3-4 hours a week. This time will be spent cleaning stalls and paddocks, stuffing hay nets, filling water buckets and tubs and general horse and barn care chores. No experience required; we will teach you as we go. All volunteers are encouraged to spend time with an animal suited to their abilities during the last hour of their shift, once the main chores are completed. This time may consist of grooming, walking, hand grazing, etc.

If You have questions, please end us an email for more information at info@equineaid.org

Our Mission: Providing lifetime sanctuary for the equines we have previously rescued and serving as a voice against all abuse.

Thank You for considering sharing your time with Equine Aid Sanctuary!

Description

Equine Aid is a labor of love and hope, founded in 1999. We are deeply thankful for our wonderful volunteers who help us care for the animals. There are many ways to help here. We hope that every person who has assisted us, in any capacity, knows how important they are to the welfare of our herd.

We have an ongoing need for volunteers who care for the animals and facility. Please contact us to ask any questions or sign up to help!
