About WAYLAND VILLARS DIPG FOUNDATION INC

Location:

Mission Statement

Our Mission is 2-fold: We are committed to funding research that will lead to a cure in the fight against DIPG, or Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. DIPG is a rare pediatric brain stem tumor which only affects about 200 children in the US per year. Second, we are devoted to helping local families whose children are suffering from DIPG. Our goal is to provide information, resources, and support to those in need in the Indianapolis area.

Description

We are a small non-profit organation with a big goal, helping to find a cure for DIPG, one of the rarest and deadliest pediatric brain tumors. And it is also the disease that claimed the life of our 4 year old son, Wayland. He is the reason we fight. We want to offer hope everyday by spreading awareness of the disease, doing events to raise funds and finding others to join us in our cause!
