BGCM Community Center & Sportsplex is seeking a hard-working, energetic, well organized, responsible person to take on the role of Athletics Director/Coordinator. In this role you will work directly with the Camp Director in planning, organizing, and implementing the daily activities of the sports portion of our camp. Must have the ability to supervise counselors and volunteers while exemplifying the goals of BGCM. Must be a role model for our participants and be able to communicate effectively with our counselors, participants, and parents. Above all else, must make sure that campers and staff will enjoy a safe, fun, and active summer camp experience. Athletics Director/Coordinator may be asked to supervise children on weekly field trips. Community Center & Sportsplex, is a 501c3 nonprofit academic, arts & athletic center for youth & families founded on Christian principles, and is dedicated to instilling in each member that they have been specifically chosen by God to do magnificent things! Located in the heart of Jackson, NJ, we specialize in improving the self esteem of youth and families in surrounding suburban as well as underrepresented and underprivileged communities, while promoting integrity and stewardship, and offering, to youth in our surrounding states from Maine to North Carolina, an innovative opportunity to train, excel, and compete academically, artistically, and athletically.
