ORGANIZATION: Natural History Museum of Utah

  • 1 person is interested

The Natural History Museum of Utah is home to rich galleries and exhibits full of unique artifacts and specimens, each with their own history. We need Highlights Tour Guide volunteers to share the stories behind the artifacts on display with Museum guests who want to learn all the secrets of NHMU. As a Highlights Tour Guide you will get specialized training to learn the best stories behind NHMU’s collections and exhibits, gain experience in public speaking, and share your passion for science and history with those eager to learn.

Highlights Tour Guide will lead Museum guests on a 60 minute tour of the Museum’s permanent collections. Tours occur on a regular schedule, and also by special request. Tour Guides will use Museum stories, props, and conversation to engage guests. Highlights Tour Guides should have a strong interest in serving visitors and demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate with different audiences.
