Prepare and serve meals as well as supplemental items suchs as drinks (hot and cold), breakfast cereals and pastries for breakfast (9-10:30), prepare lunch (11-12:30) for heating in microwave, if needed, prior to distribution. Hours are 9-1 Monday-Friday (except as below regarding school holidays).
Distribute requested (by clients) hygiene items(socks, toothpaste, soap, etc.) on Wednesday from 9-11.
Assist with receiving bread delivery on Mondays and possible Wednesdays and Fridays. Bread items not used in Ministry are put on rack for clients to take with them.
Provide limited clothing articles as requested/needed.
Clean tables and kitchen area at closing. Repackage any food items (breads/pastries) that will be used the next day.
Hours and M-F, 9-1. Ideally, if volunteers can arrive at 8:30 to assist in prepartion of breakfast, that would be a help. Mary Kelly Center follows local school's schedule regarding holidays. If the Center is closed, we will provide sack lunches at a table at the South door.
