DOROT's prestigious Summer Teen Internship Program is returning to the Riverdale Y after a succesful summer in 2017. The Summer Teen Internship inspires high school students to develop leadership skills and give back to their community. Volunteer with a diverse group of socially-conscious high school students to facilitate intergenerational programs at the Riverdale Y Senior Center. Only 3 spots left!
Interns will:
- Brighten the lives of seniors
- Gain valuable leadership and communication skills
- Teach computer classes
- Facilitate classes
- Achieve 105 hours of community service
Dates:
July 23 - August 16
Monday - Thursday
10:00am - 5:00pm
*On the last day of the internship, the day ends at 6:30pm.

We serve the Jewish and wider community, bringing the generations together in a mutually beneficial partnership of elders, volunteers and professionals. Our work provides an effective model for others. DOROT is headquartered in Manhattan with an additional site in Westchester County.
