Students from China will be traveling to Winter Park for a language travel program. Volunteer host families provide a safe, welcoming environment, a bed for the student (they can share a room with a student their same gender and within 3 years age range), meals and transportation to a designated local bus stop. Local students can earn up to 45 community service hours!
Junior Chinese Program: July 27th - Aug. 12th Children ages 8 - 14 go to class during the day and spend nights and weekends with host practicing their English and learning more about our culture. Great study opportunity for homeschool students, cultural opportunity for families with kids of all ages and for empty nesters who can be an American "mom and dad" to an excited youth from another country.
