International Service Trip for Young Professionals

Carretera Duarte, Copal 2, Calle Los Cocos #7Santiago, DO

Join BLUE Missions' Immersion Experience, a nine-day service trip to the Dominican Republic. This opportunity is available for young professionals, ages 21-35. The program is a unique opportunity to live in a rural village, witnessing firsthand the locals’ living conditions.

During your time in the community, you will work alongside our staff and local community members in the construction of a gravity-driven water system or a sanitation project. Many of these villages do not have clean, running water or adequate sanitation. Children and women spend the majority of their days collecting water - which is not even clean enough to drink, cook with, or bathe in - from the nearest river. Many homes do not have a bathroom as well. You will help change this reality. Whether it is constructing a water system or building a ventilated pit latrine in every home, you can improve their way of living.
