About

Moving DayMilwaukee is the National Parkinson Foundation’s (NPF) signature fundraising walk which celebrates the importance of movement in a united fight to beat Parkinson’s disease. The event features a family walk, kids area, resources pavilion and a Movement Pavilionwhich will include Parkinson’s-friendly exercises, all of which have been proven to help manage the symptoms of the disease.

NPF is currently recruiting volunteers to help with set-up, registration, refreshments, kids area, course, team village, clean-up etc. Volunteers will work 2 to 4 hours shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 1:00pm and times will vary depending on the area assigned. A light breakfast and a t-shirt will be provided.
