JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting lead data entry specialist in entering program and service transactions into our ServicePoint HMIS database. Additionally, this position is responsible for entering data, correcting data, and supporting Data lead with internal and external audits.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform general office activities, such as typing, answering telephones, operating office machines, processing mail, or securing confidential materials.
  • Read source documents and enter data in specific data fields for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of data entered in databases, correcting any errors.
  • Store completed documents in appropriate locations
  • Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
  • Provide assistance with the preparation of project-related reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
  • Answer questions about records or files.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFACATIONS:

  • Typing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Desire to learn and grow within our organization
  • Basic knowledge of data entry software, Microsoft Office, Google email and documents
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
  • Positive energy
  • Ability and willingness to work with a team of individuals from diverse backgrounds and support Impact NW’s mission and goals

PREFFERD BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFACATIONS

  • Basic knowledge of HIPPA and other privacy laws.
  • Experience with Service Point database.
  • The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.

  • Repetitive motion, prolonged sitting, extensive visual involvement.
  • Oral and written communicate with others.
  • Detail oriented.
