Habitat for Humanity Seattle - King County is having their annual benefit luncheon on Tuesday, March 14 th! This is our biggest event of the year with over 900 people attending, great speakers, and an opportunity for all of our friends and partners to come together to support affordable housing in King County. If you enjoy events, socializing, and/or helping support affordable housing, this is a perfect opportunity for you!
When: Tuesday March 14 th from 9:30am - 2:30pm
Where: The Washington State Convention Center: 705 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101
Volunteer tasks: There are a variety of tasks that we would love your help with! Each volunteer will receive a detailed schedule of his or her volunteer roles prior to the day. Between 9:30 and 2:30 you will be involved with some/all of the following:
- Registration (up to 6): Help us greet attendees, check them in, and give everyone their name tags
- Information Table (up to 3): Provide guests with venue maps, table assignments, programs, and other helpful info.
- Ushers (up to 3): Show people to tables, identify empty seats, and work directly with registration table to provide support / problem solving.
- Event Hosts (up to 10): Provide support throughout the event as needed. A readiness to step in and help make this a great event!
- Tear-Down (up to 10): Pack up the materials left on the tables after the event. (The Convention Center staff will take care of the food clean up and all garbage. We just need to package up things to take back to the office.)
Volunteers will each get a Habitat T-shirt, snacks, and an opportunity to meet all of our amazing supporters, many of whom are influential members of our community. You will play a direct role in helping us reach our goal of raising over $750,000 at the Luncheon!

Description
Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County works to eliminate substandard housing through constructing, renovating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
