The flagship production, Sounds of the Civil Rights Movement: The Power of Song, completed its third year as the kick-off event, with more than 120 people in the cast and 2,500 people attending three productions.

the event draws prominent political and business leaders, including the mayor of St. Petersburg with includes top artists, such as Grammy-nominated jazz singer Kim Nalley, the music director and guitarist for "Babyface," former Three Mo Tenors sensation Ken Alston Jr. and a host of others.
