Develop confidence and motivate positive results for learning in the life of a young child! The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging volunteer program Positively Aging Bucks County partners with local school districts to provide interested volunteers that support emergent readers and help build charter in the lives of children right in our communities.
the relationship built between a child and tutor is often a significant part of a child's learning experience.
volunteer opportunities ae available for tutors with commitments as little as a few hours a week. The primary focus is reading tutor in math and science, along with kindergarten aides working in the classroom with the teacher.
